MUNTON FIELDS, ROPSLEY

Lloyd Developments built this impressive three-storey, six-bedroom house in the charming Lincolnshire village of Ropsley. Open the front door and you’ll be blown away by the quality of this stylish and modern family home. Designed with a contemporary yet country feel, the ground floor includes a spacious entrance hallway with an abundance of built-in storage cupboards; a light-filled yet cosy living room with a log-burner fireplace and ultramodern trifold doors opening onto a solid stone garden patio; and a contemporary, ‘Shaker-style’ kitchen with solid oak worktops, fully-integrated appliances and a separate utility room.

Climb the oak staircase to the first floor and you’ll find a charming master bedroom with a large ensuite containing ‘his and hers’ vanity sinks, and an impressive walk-in wardrobe. A large, fully-fitted family bathroom and two generous double bedrooms also sit on this floor, one of which boasts yet another stylish ensuite bathroom. The second floor offers two more double bedrooms with Velux skylights and a handy cloakroom, and the sixth double bedroom can be found above the separate double garage, alongside its own ensuite bathroom – the perfect area for guests and visitors.

Although a new-build, this Munton Fields development is brimming with character and charm – warm oak finishes and attention to detail throughout ensure this stunning country dwelling has a sleek and high-end feel.

MERRICK CLOSE, GONERBY

In order to update and modernise this traditional family home, Lloyd Developments worked with the home owner to design a luxury, open-plan living space on the ground floor that would incorporate all of the mod cons. What was once a dark, separate entrance hallway and kitchen/diner has now been transformed into a stylish, bright and airy space fit for modern family living. 

By simply removing an internal wall between the hallway and kitchen/diner, and adding discreet steel beams, this once disjointed space now flows perfectly across the length of the house, and includes a fully redesigned and redecorated open-plan kitchen/diner/living area, utility room, formal living room, downstairs cloakroom and ample under-stair storage on the ground floor. The modernised living area includes spotlights throughout, high-spec USB plug sockets, cleverly-concealed surround sound cabling and ultra-stylish charcoal grey woodwork. A spacious, stone-built porch complements the exterior and ensures this open-plan living area is a private and usable space.

Having completed the ground floor transformation with great success, the Lloyd Developments team also gave the upstairs family bathroom and master ensuite a much-needed facelift, with ultramodern tiling and state-of-the-art fittings.

ROSEMARY CRESCENT, GRANTHAM

This once-dated, single-storey bungalow was in much need of serious modernisation – but Lloyd Developments spotted potential and have successfully transformed it into a two-storey, five-bedroom family home with a bright and modern feel. 

Formerly containing a small and stuffy kitchen, lounge and dining room on the ground floor, these rooms have now been knocked through to form one large, contemporary, open-plan living area with a stylish kitchen and a central feature fireplace. Three bedrooms remain on the ground floor, but each has been modernised with brand-new fixtures and fittings, and handy built-in storage. The downstairs family bathroom has benefited from a full refurb with stylish fittings. In what was once a large and disused attic, Lloyd Developments created a further two spacious double bedrooms and a large, impressive double shower room with twin vanity sinks and contemporary tiling. 

The outdoor area was also given a fresh and modern facelift, with a newly-rendered exterior and a new timber-built study/office sitting next to the existing single garage. 

DYSART ROAD EXTENSION

In order to maximise the living space in this two-bedroom bungalow, the Lloyd Developments team of expert tradesman worked with the home owner to create a light and spacious 24 square-metre extension that complements the existing building, whilst also providing a raised outdoor patio, accessible through newly-fitted PVC French doors, to complete the outdoor space. The bricks, roof tiles and fascias were specially sourced to ensure this single-storey extension flows seamlessly from the original structure, and inside, provides a modern, bright and usable living area.

COTTESMORE CLOSE KITCHEN

The talented team of expert kitchen fitters at Lloyd Developments completely renovated this once-dated kitchen, transforming it into a contemporary, usable and modern space – and, thanks to the fitting of a brand-new PVC window, one that’s filled with natural light.

Designed alongside the home owner, this stunning space includes 40mm solid oak worktops, complemented by custom-made solid oak up-stands; space-saving fully-integrated appliances; a country-style ceramic sink; and clever storage solutions concealed in cupboards to make the most of the available space. Tasteful tiling and wall-paint choices, eco-friendly LED spotlights, soft and warm under-cupboard lighting, and hardwearing stone-effect Karndean vinyl flooring give this impressive kitchen a wow-factor finish.
